My first unit was build out of OSB scraps and after a few years of my toolbox sitting on it the top was beginning to sag. Overall it just wasn't a very attractive piece. So I reworked it with new materials and made some changes based on what I learned with the original.
One can see that this build didn't use the eTopixzu power supply linked above. Instead it has a laptop power supply from a box of junk I received. Unfortunately, I don't remember the specs for it, though believe it came from a 1990's Gateway. Due to the nature of its position in the radio it is now quite impossible to get to the label on the bottom of the brick. Additionally, the cubby gets fairly warm, definitely not a place to keep a chocolate bar. Also of note are the two support pillars that were added to better support the middle of the top plate.
